Education - Reports on quality

 

  • EU Member States provide the Commission (Eurostat) with reports on the quality of data transmitted on the base of Article 12 – Statistical quality of the Regulation (EC) No 223/2009 on European statistics (which was amended by Regulation (EU) No 2015/759).

     

  • Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS)

    Specific requirements for continuing Vocational training survey (CVTS, in enterprises) are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in

    Regulation (EC) 1152/2005 on statistics relating to vocational training in enterprises,

    Regulation (EC) 198/2006 implementing Regulation (EC) No 1552/2005,

    Regulation (EC) 452/2008 concerning the production and development of statistics on education and lifelong learning,

    Regulation (EU) 1153/2014 amending Regulation (EC) 198/2006 as regards the data to be collected, and the sampling, precision and quality requirements.

    Survey is carried out in 5-year periodicity. Most recent available report is for the survey in 2015.

    Adult education survey (AES)

    Specific requirements for Adult education survey (AES) are laid down in sectoral legislation, namely in

    Regulation (EU) 2019/1700 establishing a common framework for European statistics relating to persons and households, based on data at individual level collected from samples, amending Regulation (EC) 452/2008; and in

    Regulation (EU) 2021/861 specifying the technical items of the data set and establishing the technical formats for transmission of information on the organisation of a sample survey in the education and training domain pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/1700.

    For the survey In 2016 specific requirements were laid down in

    Regulation (EC) 452/2008 concerning the production and development of statistics on education and lifelong learning, and in

    Regulation (EU) 1175/2014 implementing Regulation (EC) 452/2008, as regards statistics on the participation of adults in lifelong learning.
